Morelle I

The Morelle trench coat is a commanding, long double-breasted silhouette crafted from handwoven Kente in a sophisticated palette of black and deep navy blue. Its six-button front and coordinating belt bring structure and definition to the elongated form, allowing the coat to be worn cinched at the waist or left open for a more relaxed expression.

Handwoven by collaborating artisans in Ghana, each length of fabric requires more than two weeks of meticulous work. Fine threads of soft lurex are incorporated into the textile, creating a subtle shimmer that reveals itself delicately as the coat moves through the light.
