Spring Summer 18

AKWABA

Afropolitan
After many travels spent across distant lands and seas, the Afropolitan has
finally returned home. This summer will be the time of homecoming, reconnecting with the motherland.

We are coming home indeed. Here to re-discover the
home country of Côte d'Ivoire, and fall in love with it all once again. The
electric energy and bold architectures, the familiar Orange-Blanc-Vert colors,
the seashores and fresh waters, the hustle and bustle of the people, the
emotions felt from within it all.

During this trip back home, we discover the Senufo cloth, which is locally produced
in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, and reaffirm our love for the Baoulé cloth that
was present in our very first collection.

This new episode also shows that the finished product can be loved and worn
by anyone, regardless of their ethnic origin, their social class, and their
geographical location. The continent loves us, and loves you too.
