Autumn Winter 17-18
AFROPOLITAN
This collection is a love letter, an invitation to the people who hold a deep affection for the African continent, but live or travel often far away from its borders. I myself am from the diaspora which, for the sake of the motherland, would like to share the beautiful things that she is truly capable of creating, and to offer them to the global village that we all belong to. And by doing so, bring in enough added value to the local craftsmanship, and rightfully represent its true wealth and opportunities.
During this trip back home, we discover the Senufo cloth, which is locally produced in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, and reaffirm our love for the Baoulé cloth that was present in our very first collection.
This new episode also shows that the finished product can be loved and worn by anyone, regardless of their ethnic origin, their social class, and their geographical location. The continent loves us, and loves you too.
